The Ceremony

Picture

Our semi-private ceremony was held at 5pm in the Grand Ballroom at Carrie Cerino's Ristorante in North Royalton, Ohio.

Our officiant was Rev. Patricia Wagner-Soteros, of the Creative Wedding Officiants.

The Reception

Picture

Our reception immediately followed the ceremony.  While we were in the receiving line, the ceremony guests filed out to go through the line and the rest of the guests arrived.  This is when our head table was being set up in front of our gorgeous lighted backdrop.

We chose the buffet option offered by Carrie Cerino's.  We had chicken marsala, breaded pork chops, penne pasta, parsley buttered redskin potatoes, and California mixed vegetables.  And of course salad and rolls.

The buffet option also included a pastry buffet for dessert, along with fresh fruit.

Carrie Cerino's made our cake as well.  We chose to stay simple and have their white cake with a hint of almond with raspberry filling.

Our favors were Hershey's kisses inside of brown boxes, for each guest.  The candy came from B.A. Sweetie in Brookpark, Ohio and the boxes with bows came from Michaels in Parma, Ohio.

The Flowers

Picture

Our flowers were from Durken's Florist in Parma, Ohio.

My bouquet consisted of white roses, green hypericum berries, white freesia, and white cornflowers.

The groom wore a single white rose with green hypericum berries and yellow stock while the groomsmen and fathers wore two miniature sweetheart roses with the green berries and yellow stock.

The bridesmaids bouquets consisted of creamy white gerbera daisies, green hypericum berries, and yellow stock.  The mothers and grandmothers wore wrist corsages consisting of white sweetheart roses, green hypericum berries and yellow stock.

We used two single white roses for our rose exchange ceremony and then displayed the roses on our cake table for the reception.

Gerbera daisies adorned each of the guest tables as well as the cake table.  The same flowers used in the bouquets were used to top the cake and decorate around it.
